  • Community submissions: suggested corrections, park suggestions, contact and proposed park-administrator email addresses, reasons, review notes, photographs, captions, and related park or memorial information.
  • Technical information: session cookies and routine server information such as browser type, request time, IP address, and error logs that may be processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers.
  • Messages: information you include when contacting us by email.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the Service, authenticate accounts, review and publish appropriate contributions, contact and verify proposed park stewards, respond to inquiries, maintain historical records and moderation audit trails, diagnose problems, and comply with legal obligations.

Public contributions

Approved park information, memorial records, photographs, captions, and contributor-supplied historical material may become publicly visible. Contact email addresses submitted with park suggestions are used for review and stewardship coordination and are not intended for public display. Do not submit private, sensitive, or confidential information for publication.

Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers, including Supabase for database, authentication, and storage services and our hosting provider for application delivery. These providers may process information on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

The Service uses an essential session cookie to keep users signed in, protect forms, and maintain account security. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, maintain the integrity of historical and moderation records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by emailing us. Some information may be retained where necessary for security, legal compliance, or the integrity of published historical and audit records.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
